Website for the Waste Line appliance buy-back service

Waste Line buys and collects old household appliances and electronics all over Lithuania. We built the website for this service and designed its logo.

The task

A buy-back website has to answer two questions straight away: what do you buy, and how much will you pay for it? It had to show that an old fridge or washing machine can earn you money. That called for indicative prices, an explanation of how they are calculated and a simple enquiry form.

Solution

We created the design and wrote all the website copy. The home page explains the service step by step: what equipment is bought, the company's advantages, the three steps of the process and the appliance categories, from fridges to batteries. The 'What we buy' page has a price list with indicative prices and an example of how the price is calculated by weight, and explains how it depends on whether the item is complete. The 'How it works' page describes the steps from enquiry to payment and answers frequently asked questions. In the enquiry form, customers say what equipment they are selling.

What we did

  • Price list with a worked pricing example
  • 'How it works' page with FAQs
  • Buy-back enquiry form
  • Design and all website copy
  • 'About us' and 'Contact' pages
  • Logo
